Qld woman's hand mangled in machinery

A woman has seriously injured her hand after it became trapped in workplace machinery on the Gold Coast.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the woman, in her 50s, has "significant hand injuries" as a result of the accident at Molendinar on Wednesday morning.
She is in a stable condition, and it is unknown if she will lose her hand.
