A woman accused of scamming a business out of almost $100,000 to fund a luxury cruise has appeared in court.

Wendy Janine Baulch, 52, appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday charged with fraud and computer hacking after she was extradited from NSW.

It's alleged the Maryborough woman used a phishing email to gain access to money belonging to an unnamed business.

Police say she then used the $93,000 she took to pay for a flight to Florida in the US and a ticket for a luxury cruise from Miami to Sydney.

NSW police arrested her on Tuesday as the ship docked in Sydney, and she was extradited to Queensland on Wednesday.

The woman had allegedly booked a second leg, from Sydney to Myanmar (Burma), but her arrest meant she could not continue.

Baulch was remanded in custody, and is expected to reappear in the same court on Friday.
