Qld woman flees armed sex attacker

A woman has been able to flee a man who sexually assaulted her at knifepoint in a deserted Brisbane car park.

Police say the woman, 24, accepted a lift from a man while she was walking in Brisbane's CBD about 3.30am on Sunday.

He then drove her to a bowls club car park in the eastern suburb of Cannon Hill, before pulling out a knife and assaulting her.

She was able to escape and flag down passing motorists who helped her.

The man is described as Caucasian, with sandy hair, chiselled features and thin lips.
