Qld woman dead after head-on collision

A woman has died and two people have been injured after two vehicles collided head-on, northwest of Brisbane.

Initial information suggests the two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they crashed on the D'Aguilar Highway, east of Yarraman on Sunday afternoon, police say.

A 69-year-old driver in one of the vehicles died at the scene.

Her 14-year-old female passenger and the 57-year-old female driver of the second vehicle were taken to Kingaroy Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
