Qld woman assaulted in her own laundry

A Queensland woman has been knocked out after going to investigate a strange noise in her laundry.

Police say the 43-year-old blacked out and suffered grazes to the side of her head during the assault at her home in the Rockhampton suburb of Allenstown.

Investigations are continuing into the attack, which occurred around 5am on Wednesday.
