Qld truck driver dies after hitting tree

A 37-year-old truck driver has died after veering off the road and colliding with a tree northwest of Brisbane.

Police say the Chinchilla man, who was the only person in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Yuleba North on Thursday morning.

They are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward to assist the investigation.
