Qld treasurer seeks productive tax talks

Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt is looking forward to more productive tax reform talks with his interstate and federal counterparts.

Australia's treasurers are due to meet in Sydney on Friday and Mr Pitt hopes new federal treasurer Scott Morrison puts more tax reform options on the table than his predecessor Joe Hockey.

"Premier Palaszczuk has spoken about a new era of co-operation with the federal government on infrastructure. We'd also like to see a new era of co-operation from Treasurer Scott Morrison on taxation and economic matters," he told AAP.
