Qld toddler drowns west of Brisbane

A two-year-old boy has drowned in a dam west of Brisbane.
The boy was reported missing at a rural block in Hatton Vale, in the Lockyer Valley, about 6pm on Thursday.
His body was found in a nearby dam and he was pronounced dead at the scene around 8.40pm.

A police report will be prepared for the coroner.
