Qld thief locked in store throws tantrum
AAP
A wannabe thief hurled goods around a Brisbane service station in a tantrum after a quick-thinking employee locked him in and called the cops.
The 20-year-old balaclava-clad man unsuccessfully tried to rob the shop at Annerley on Sunday night, but became enraged when he found he had been trapped.
Police arrived to find him hurling items around the store and at the doors, while the employee had safely fled to a secure back room.
