Qld teen facing more than 100 charges

A 16-year-old boy is facing more than 100 charges over a series of thefts and other offences around Townsville in the past month.

The teen has been charged with 105 offences, including two counts of armed robbery, 23 counts of burglary, 16 counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, 17 counts of wilful damage, seven counts of enter dwelling with intent and seven counts of disqualified driving.

He was taken into custody on Saturday afternoon and will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
