Qld teen charged after man stabbed in back

A teenager faces multiple assault charges after a man was stabbed in the back following an altercation on a street in Mt Isa in Queensland's far north west.
The 17-year-old and the 30-year-old, who clashed just after midnight on Sunday, are known to each other, police say.
The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries while the teen was charged with assault, grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning bodily harm.

He is due to face Mt Isa Magistrates Court on Monday.
