Qld teacher in court on child porn charges

A Queensland primary school teacher accused of possessing more than 7000 encrypted child exploitation images and videos has faced court.

Maximilian Ernst Hodgess, 43, appeared in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on Thursday, after he was charged by the Crime and Corruption Commission last month.

Hodgess, who is a teacher at a primary school north of Brisbane, is yet to enter a plea and remains on bail ahead of his next scheduled court appearance on September 10.
