Qld swimmer missing for almost a week
AAP
A homeless man hasn't been seen since he ran into waters off Queensland's Sunshine Coast to avoid arrest almost a week ago.
Officers were trying to arrest Ricky Gardner, 37, when he ran into the water and began swimming away from the shore at Noosa in the early hours of Saturday.
Police believe he may have fled because he was wanted on a return to prison warrant.
