Qld students to learn coding, robotics

Queensland primary students will start learning coding and robotics at school next year.

The state government has released a discussion paper about the addition of these strands to the syllabus ahead of next year's rollout.

"We are going to see incredible changes in technology when it comes to farming practices in this state, when it comes to biofuels, when it comes to manufacturing. There is a world of opportunities and our young people need to be part of it," Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said on Wednesday.
