Qld stabbing victim dies in hospital

Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a man in southern Queensland.

It's alleged the 43-year-old man was stabbed at a home at Mundubbera, west of Bundaberg. He was taken to the Mundubbera Base Hospital and a crime scene was set up around the home.

Forensic officers are still examining the scene and a homicide investigation is underway.
