Qld set for mid-year economic outlook
AAP
Queensland's government will release its mid-year economic outlook this week.
But Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is staying tight-lipped about precisely which day Treasurer Curtis Pitt will hand down the report.
She said the Labor government had created more than 50,000 jobs in the state this year and unemployment levels were declining.

"We will ensure there are surpluses for the next four years," she said on Sunday.
It would be interesting to see the contrast between the state's MYEFO and its federal counterpart, also due out this week, she added.
