Qld scout leader on child porn charges

A scout leader has been charged with making and sending child porn.

The 30-year-old West Ipswich man was charged with 26 child exploitation offences following a covert investigation by Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC).

CCC detectives searched the man's house on Sunday, seizing cameras and computer equipment.

It's alleged the equipment contains material the man had accessed over the internet, as well as files he had made.

He will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court later on Monday on three counts of possessing child exploitation, a count of using a carriage service to access child pornography material, five counts of using a carriage service to make available child pornography material, 14 counts of making child exploitation material and three of indecent treatment of a child.
