Queensland's treasurer spent almost twice as much on overseas travel than the premier, new documents reveal.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Wednesday tabled a Public Report of Ministerial Expenses for July to December last year, which showed her cabinet spent $15,235,119.

It indicated Treasurer Curtis Pitt spent $83,605 on overseas travel, compared to the $44,871 that Ms Palaszczuk spent.

Mr Pitt's expenses can be put down to a Queensland Treasury Corporation trade mission he embarked on in August and September, which saw him visit Singapore, Hong Kong, London and New York.

Ms Palaszczuk had the highest expenses overall, spending $3,084,292 during the period, including $2,539,357 on staff salaries and $66,131 on domestic travel.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader Lawrence Springborg's office spent $1,723,465 during the same period, including $1,217,680 on salaries, $60,329 on domestic travel and $48,656 on motor vehicle running costs.
