Qld's CCC focus on Logan council election

Logan mayor Luke Smith will be called to give evidence at the Crime and Corruption Commission's investigation into the 2016 local government elections.

Queensland's CCC will resume its Operation Belcarra public hearings between June 13 and 15 to include a new area of focus, the Logan City Council.

The commission is also investigating funding and disclosure allegations against candidates who ran in the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Moreton Bay council elections - including the mayors of all three councils.
