Qld rescue helicopter targeted by laser

A rescue helicopter has been repeatedly hit by a laser during night operations in rural Queensland.

The LifeFlight Rescue helicopter based in Toowoomba was transferring patients last Wednesday and Monday when it was targeted four times.

"Shining a laser toward an aircraft is extremely dangerous as it has the potential to startle pilots and crew," pilot Rob Moore said on Tuesday.
