Qld to consider 'sensible' GST changes

Queensland Treasurer Curtis Pitt doesn't seem to see eye to eye with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on changing the GST.

The premier again ruled out any changes to the Commonwealth Goods and Services Tax on Tuesday, but just hours later Mr Pitt has said the state government will consider "sensible proposals" to change the taxes.

"But it would need to be a compelling argument put forward to make us change our view on the GST," he said.
