Qld prison guard suspended from duty

A southeast Queensland prison guard has been suspended over allegations of inappropriate conduct.

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) wouldn't provide more details about the allegations, but said in a statement that the Department of Justice and Attorney-General's ethical standards unit would investigate.

"QCS takes any alleged breach of its officer code of conduct most seriously," the statement said.
