Qld premier concerned about WA payment

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says she's concerned about a half a billion dollar payment to Western Australia in the federal budget.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott is set to announce the Commonwealth is bringing forward $499 million in cash for WA roads projects.

"I'm very concerned that if the prime minister wants to go and do one-off deals with particular states, especially when it comes to infrastructure funding, Queensland needs to get its fair share of infrastructure funding," Ms Palaszczuk said.
