Qld police to get new terrorism training

The Islamic Council of Queensland has helped develop a new training course for police tasked with battling terrorism.
The course will give regional police the knowledge and skills they need fight the scourge of terrorism, including how to spot signs people have been radicalised and how to best engage with sectors of the community.
The first course will begin on the Gold Coast this week, and it will be rolled out state wide.
