Qld police search for missing girls, 13

A 13-year-old Ipswich girl has gone missing after heading to the Gold Coast.

She was last seen by her family about 8am on Monday, before boarding a train to Varsity Lakes on the tourist strip.

CCTV showed the girl being met by a man at the station, before the pair got into a car.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall with dark brown hair and green eyes.

Police are also continuing their search for a 13-year-old Mackay girl who was last seen in Bundaberg on April 29.

She is believed to be travelling with an older man in a white Holden Commodore.

The girl is Caucasian, about 170cm tall with a slim build, dark hair and wears pink glasses.

Anyone with information about either teenager is asked to contact police.
