Qld police officer suspended after crash

A Queensland police officer has been suspended after being charged over a car crash on the Sunshine Coast.
The senior constable, 40, will front Maroochydore Magistrates Court on September 4 charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving without due care.
The officer, from the state's Central Region, was allegedly involved in a single-car crash in Maroochydore on March 31.
