Qld pair charged over stolen car crash

Two teenagers have been arrested in bushland after allegedly crashing a stolen car on the Gold Coast.

Police say the car was stolen at knife point from a couple in the Gold Coast hinterland on Saturday before crashing at Gaven on Sunday night.

A girl, 16, and a man, 19, fled into the bush but were later arrested and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. The man is also accused of armed robbery.
