Qld pair charged over shop robbery

A woman and a teenage boy have been accused of stealing a ute, robbing a Brisbane shop and evading police for six hours.

It's alleged the woman, 38, and a 17-year-old youth stole the ute on Tuesday afternoon before breaking into a shop at Morningside that night.

Police tried to stop the vehicle three times before tyre spikes eventually brought the pair to a dramatic halt. They'll face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
