Qld opposition still supports Carmody

No one should have to go through what Queensland's chief justice has experienced, the state opposition says.

Chief Justice Tim Carmody has offered to resign after what two retired judges, Alastair Nicholson and Brian Boulton, have called a bullying campaign by a group of bitter judges to end his tenure.

Opposition police spokesman Jarrod Bleijie says no public figure should have to go through what the chief justice and his family have gone through.
