Qld MP wants witness intimidation probe
AAP
Witnesses might have been intimidated while testifying at a hearing into sand mining on Queensland's North Stradbroke Island, the state's parliament has heard.
Finance and Administration Committee chair Peter Russo says he'll write to parliament's ethics committee to provide more information and ask them to investigate.
"The committee recently received information about potential intimidation of witnesses with respect to its recent public hearings for its inquiry into North Stradbroke Island," Mr Russo told parliament on Wednesday.
