Qld motorcyclist dies after being thrown

A motorcyclist is dead after hitting a parked car and being thrown into the path of an oncoming truck north of Brisbane.
Police say the rider hit the car at Strathpine just before 1pm on Monday. The impact hurled him into the path of the truck, which was travelling in the opposite direction on Gympie Road.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police want to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam footage.
