Qld men with bikie ties charged over drugs
Three men with alleged links to the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle club have been granted bail after being charged with drug offences.
The men, all aged in their 30s, were this week charged with trafficking MDMA (ecstasy), cocaine and cannabis, police said in a statement on Saturday.
The oldest of the men, a 39-year-old, is alleged to have "facilitated the trafficking of large quantities of cannabis between Melbourne and Brisbane".
The alleged offences took place in 2009 and 2013.
The men were released on bail after facing Brisbane Magistrates Court, police said.
Police said the joint operation between the state's police service and the Crime and Corruption Commission seized 1354 MDMA pills, 56 grams of cocaine and 4.5 kg of cannabis.
CCC executive director crime Kathleen Florian said the arrests were part of an "ongoing commitment of the CCC and the QPS to reduce the impact of organised crime in Queensland".
