Qld men bashed in gang mugging

A gang of muggers has bashed two men after they refused to hand over their valuables in Queensland's southeast.

The two men and a woman were walking along a Bundaberg street on Monday night when they were confronted by three men who demanded they hand over cash and other property.

When the group refused, the muggers bashed the two men, who required hospital treatment. Three men, aged 20, 21, and 24, have been charged and will face the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
