A Queensland teenager is accused of stabbing a Good Samaritan who tried to prevent a group of youths from accosting an elderly man on a mobility scooter.

The 26-year-old man was stabbed when he confronted the three teenagers as they hassled the man on a pathway behind a service station at Heritage Park, south of Brisbane, on Tuesday afternoon.

He managed to restrain his alleged attacker and marched him into the service station where police were called.
