Qld man sprayed woman with petrol: police

A man who allegedly sprayed a woman with petrol and threatened to set her alight at a home north of Brisbane will face court.

Police say the 44-year-old threatened the woman before hitting her on the head with a glass bottle during a fight at Caboolture on Tuesday.

It is alleged he also assaulted the woman earlier in the year and broke a man's rib at the same address in September.

The man will face charges including torture and serious assault at Caboolture Magistrates Court on Thursday.
