Qld man sets fire to ex-residence: police

A man has been charged after allegedly setting fire to a house where he used to live, south of Brisbane.

Police allege the 35-year-old set fire to an unoccupied house at Browns Plain about 4.30am on Sunday.

He is set to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday charged with arson, wilful damage, assault occasioning bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and possess utensils.
