Qld man on attempted murder charge

A man accused of repeatedly stabbing another man in the back west of Brisbane has been remanded in custody.

Paulo Boselala, 40, is facing an attempted murder charge after allegedly attacking a 29-year-old man at an Ipswich apartment on Monday.

The victim was taken to hospital in a serious condition. He's now listed as stable.

Boselala was also injured during the violence, along with a 32-year-old woman who suffered a cut hand when she tried to intervene.

All three were known to each other.

Boselala will again face the Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 24 for a mention hearing.
