Qld man missing after Xmas road bogging

Authorities are searching for a man who vanished after his vehicle became bogged in northwest Queensland on Christmas Eve.

Police say the last confirmed sighting of Jefferson Club, 22, was on Christmas Day although he wasn't reported missing until December 31.

A police spokesman said there was conflicting information about what happened when Mr Club's vehicle became bogged on a road near Camooweal.

A number of people have said they had seen him since Christmas but those sightings were yet to be confirmed, the spokesman said.
