Qld man in court over flag burning

A man accused of setting fire to an Australian flag outside a far north Queensland RSL is set to face court.
Police say the 43-year-old set the flag alight in front of people celebrating Australia Day near the cenotaph on the busy Cairns Esplanade.
He's expected to face Cairns Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with public nuisance.
