Qld man facing drug trafficking charges

A Queensland man is facing more than 40 drug charges after a five-month trafficking sting.

Detectives have seized 1.75 kilograms of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and cash after raiding four properties in the inner Brisbane area on Wednesday.

The network was distributing methamphetamine as well as cannabis, police will allege.

One of four men arrested, a 33-year-old from Paddington, has been slapped with 39 counts of supplying a dangerous drug and two of drug trafficking.

He will appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Three other Brisbane men, aged 25, 30 and 32, will appear at a later date after being charged with drug possession.
