Qld man dies of motorbike crash injuries

A motorcyclist has died in hospital a fortnight after a collision with a car north of Brisbane.

A 23-year-old Kallangur man has spent the last two weeks in the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition but passed away on Thursday morning as a result of his injuries.

Initial investigations suggest a car, driven by a 33-year-old woman, travelling along Ann Street, Kallangur attempted to turn right into Sheaves Road when it collided with the motorcycle coming the other way.

Police are are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
