Qld man dies after crashing into roadworks

A man has been killed after crashing his van into roadworks equipment in central Queensland.

The driver, 72, was travelling along Baralaba Theodore Road, Baralaba, when he collided with a road grader on Friday afternoon.

Police say the machine had been in the area completing roadworks.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The forensic crash unit is investigating.
