Two die in crashes on southeast Qld roads

A woman has died after crash in the Brisbane suburb of Windsor.
She had been trapped in the wreckage after two cars collided on corner of Lutwyche Rd and Legeyt St on Thursday afternoon.
She was freed and treated by ambulance officers, but later died, a fire and emergency services spokeswoman said.

Two other people were taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries.
Lutwyche Rd was blocked in both directions causing long delays for motorists.
It was the second fatality on southeast Queensland roads in the past 24 hours.
A 41-year-old Peachester man died after his car crashed into a tree at Beerwah, north of Brisbane, on Thursday morning.
