Queensland man charged with torturing baby boy

A Queensland man will face court accused of torturing and assaulting a three-month-old baby boy.
Detectives commenced investigations after the baby was presented to the Gold Coast University Hospital suffering from a number of injuries including a several fractures to his body.
A 23-year-old Carrara man has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and torture.

He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today.
