Qld man charged over cold call scam

A man is facing fraud charges over an alleged cold call investment scam on the Gold Coast.
Police allege the 29-year-old operated several legitimate-looking businesses that cold called victims to falsely invest in the share market, binary trading, sports betting, property share investment and EBay businesses.
He's been charged with two counts of fraud and is due to face the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday.
