Qld man charged for reckless driving spree

A man has been charged after allegedly crashing into three vehicles in a twenty-minute dangerous-driving spree.

Police say the 26-year-old man crashed into a truck at a supermarket around 5.50pm on Sunday and then drove off with his bonnet crushed against his windscreen.

He was allegedly involved in two more crashes before fleeing police.

The car came to a halt just after 6pm after suffering mechanical issues and police charged the man with dangerous driving, drink driving and obstructing police.

He will face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on March 21.
