Qld man charged after woman stabbed

A man accused of stabbing a woman several times in the neck and back during a domestic dispute in north Queensland will face court.

It's alleged the 58-year-old man broke a domestic violence order and stabbed the woman, 45, multiple times at a Charters Towers house in January before turning the knife on himself.

He is due to appear in Charters Towers Magistrates Court on February 22 charged with unlawful wounding and contravention of a domestic violence order.
