Qld man charged after wife killed in crash

A man has been charged with a number of driving offences after his wife was killed in a drunken car crash on the Gold Coast.

Police charged the 47-year-old Miami man last week over the crash at Tallai in July last year.

He will face the Southport Magistrates Court on June 5 on one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death while adversely affected by an intoxicating substance, and driving under the influence.
