Qld man busted driving 77km over limit

A man has allegedly been caught driving his luxury sports car through the middle of the Gold Coast at speeds of almost 80 km/h over the limit.
Police say they busted the 41-year-old man from Paradise Point doing 147 km/h in a 70 km/h zone on the Gold Coast Highway at Main Beach on Friday night.
He automatically lost his licence for six months and will face court at a later date.
