Qld man arrested after woman set alight

A man has been arrested in Queensland after allegedly dousing a woman with an accelerant and set her on fire, causing burns to her chest, arms and airway.

Emergency services were called to Aldea Circuit at Bracken Ridge, north of Brisbane, about 10.45am on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.
